Deployment part 1

Tyler made it to Afghanistan safely!  We are able to Facetime regularly with him and miss him so much already.

Our good friends brought us "deployment doughnuts" and it was so thoughtful.  One of the many thoughtful sentiments show my our friends and family throughout the deployment.

We made a deployment wall.  The map shows where in the world Daddy is and where we are.  Around the map are the months Tyler will be gone and we can take them down after each month.  Andrew is holding kisses and hugs from Daddy (candy kisses and gummies).  And Sylvia is holding a hug-able solider with Daddy's picture in it.

Mommy and Me Me selfie.

Here is compilation picture Rachel made of the girls and her around the same age.

No surprise here but the twins can make quite a mess!

Sweet hugs from big brother.

Christian was looking so cute in his raincoat waiting to pick up Andrew from school.

The twins are learning how to use utensils really well while eating!  Maybe this will cut down on the mess at meal times.

Sylvia is a wonderful helper!  She is even learning how to wash the dishes.

Mommy and Christian selfie.  He loves hugs.  He will run full speed into Mommy's arms for snuggle hugs.

What a cutie girl!

There was a FRG event where families could come in to watch the second Wreck It Ralph movie.  It was fun!

The twins were a bit restless toward the end but the big kids liked the movie.

Boxes are a great way to entertain toddlers!

Snack time in a box is more fun.

Our cute pajama kids are missing Daddy but being really good for Mommy.

A little playtime before bedtime.

Mommy and twinies before church.

Found the kids all hanging out in Sylvia's room.  She has a cozy bed.

Another sweet moment, after putting the twins to bed, Mommy found the older two looking at books in Sylvia's bed.

It's hard for Mommy to have a hard day when she looks at these adorable, smiling faces.

It's also hard not to smile with these two goofs around.  They made their own crowns and decided to pose silly for a picture.

Green eggs and ham inspired by Dr. Seuss.

Melody loves snuggling her puppies.

Sylvia working on coloring pages.

Having lunch outside.

Cool hair twinies!

So cute how Sylvia and Andrew are holding Christian's hands and helping him walk into church.

Melody is not far behind them!

Say cheese!

It's so nice when everyone is playing peacefully together!!  It usually doesn't last long before something goes wrong.  But I enjoy it while it lasts.

Or playing nicely by themselves.

Andrew is growing up so fast.

We had a fun evening at Sam's Club.

We even bought a kids' picnic table!  Perfect!

One Saturday after gymnastics class we went to get another special treat.  It was an ice cream cookie sandwich place called the Baked Bear.

We love our neighbor, Grandma Debbie as the kids call her, she lets us play at her house and gives the kids treats too.

Having fun at the YMCA playground.

We miss Daddy but life is so good with these four.  We sure love them!
