Twins Second Birthday

Happy Second Birthday Christian and Melody!!  We threw them a very fun Puppy Paw-ty with lots of treats and friends and fun.  The twins are holding up two fingers!

Melody is posing so cute on her actual birthday which fell on a Sunday.

Officially two today!

We had their party the next day!!  Here is a picture of most of the kids who came to the party.

The puppy theme was really fun, the little stuffed puppies are the party favors for each kids along with pinata treats.

We got some fun puppy balloons and other themed decorations.

And the kids wanted to set up some of their stuffed puppies for the party too!

We played in the yard,

played games together,

colored,

...and ate!  These are some chocolate and peanut butter puppy paw print cupcakes.  We also had lunch for everybody.  We had pizza, fruit, and veggies.

And puppy chow mix!  Mommy made a really big bowl of it.

And the twins' cake!  It was a banana cake with cream cheese frosting.  This is a cake flavor Mommy makes a lot because it is always such a good hit with the kids.  The cake always turns out moist and a bit more dense than a cake mix cake would. (But not as dense as a banana bread)

Pinata time!  All the kids took their turns and after Christian's turn he decided to help Daddy.

After the really fun party the kids played with the puppy balloons for a long time.

This bike was one of the twins presents.  It even has a phone attached to it.

What cute two year olds!! We love you twinies!

They are such a wonderful part of our family.

We really don't know what we would do without them and their adorable antics.

Back to School '19

Greetings earthlings!  The next week after we got back home from Michigan, school was to begin!

Andrew and Sylvia were able to check out their classrooms and meet their teachers before school started.

Sylvia is so excited to start school!!  She has the same Pre-k teacher Andrew had so we are glad about that.

We still had some nice summer time to enjoy.

These two still love to play dress up and Sylvia loves to do Melody's makeup.

What good friends these two girly girls are!

Nail painting time!  Christian wanted his hand in the picture too.

Then the big day arrived!! Christian was still sleeping when this picture was taken, and Melody wanted to be included with her backpack too.

Sylvia is an afternoon Pre-k student so she didn't go to school when Andrew did but it was cute to get their picture together.

Sylvia had time to play all morning with the twins!

They made this "nest" to snuggle in.

After lunch it was time to say goodbye to sister.

Sylvia was excited but the twins cried when we left without big sister.

We also had dentist appointments for the kids.  Look at those adult teeth growing up!!

Kids were all very well behaved at the dentist.

Here the big kids are walking home from school talking about their days with each other.

Sylvia is such a big girl now that she goes to school!  

Just because these two aren't in school yet doesn't mean they aren't learning so much too!

Melody loves swinging and being silly.

Christian loves spending time with Daddy!  He chooses to ride with Daddy in the truck whenever he has the chance like after church or on the way home from the gym.

We love all four of these cuties and are so proud of how they are growing and learning so much every day!
