Sylvia 12 months

I know I posted her birthday post when Sylvia turned one, but I wanted to include pictures from the entire month and her 12 month collage.  Sylvia has started walking this month, but just barely.  She loves babbling, dancing to music, and playing with toys.  She definitely has a silly side and is just a pleasure to be around (most of the time).  She has been sleeping a lot (which means she is growing a lot), at least 12 hours at night and two 1.5 hour naps.  She weighs almost 19 pounds and is 29in. long.
Look how much she has grown in a year!!

I still remember this little chickadee.

Sylvia is starting to show more of an interest in books.  She always liked to look at them, but now she is starting to sit still and listen to them.

She likes to help Mommy with daily chores.

She is learning how to walk!

Sylvia got a new car seat for her birthday.

And learned how to drink from a sippy cup.

Here we are at playgroup.

At her birthday party.

 Cutie playing with some toys.

She has always been a good eater and continues to be one.  She will sit in her high chair contently as long as she has some food to munch on.  She will let you know if she needs more.

Having fun on the swingset.

We love our cutie big girl.

In her Sunday best.

Twelve month photo shoot:

I can never decide on just one!

We love our beautiful baby girl and have treasured every one of her 12 months. Mommy and Sylvia selfie.

Here are some sibling pictures.  They are getting better at playing together and Andrew always knows how to make Sylvia laugh, either by tickling her or playing peek a boo.
Here they are reading in Mommy and Daddy's bed and all ready for church.

Here are some bonus pictures of Andrew who is now exactly 2 and a half years old!! He is great with learning the letters of the alphabet and he can count up to 10.  We are working on getting ready for potty training, but unfortunately for mom, we aren't quite there yet.  He is a very smart boy and likes to listen to a CD his nursery teacher gave him in the van.  The CD has his church songs (Do As I'm Doing, Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam) and other songs like Old McDonald and the Itsy Bitsy Spider.  He has grown out of all his 2T pants (they are too short!) and now wears 3T clothes.

Grandma and Grandpa Judd Visit

Grandpa and Grandma Judd came to visit Thursday through Sunday at the end of January.  They came for Sylvia's first birthday and as you can see from the previous blog post, we had a really fun party.  But we enjoyed the whole time Grandma and Grandpa were visiting and here are some cute pictures other than Sylvia's party.

Sylvia and Grandpa playing.  You can tell she is having a great time.

Andrew got some new alphabet blocks from Grandma and Grandpa.

He impressed them by knowing the names of 95% of them!

Big hugs from a sweet little baby.

Grandpa read some books before nap time.

Story time is a lot of fun.

Andrew and Grandma wrestling.

The weather was very nice that weekend and even got into the 60s.  We went for walks and visited the park as well.  It was nice to enjoy the warmer weather.  Sylvia is a big girl walking!

This is such a great picture, you can even see the mountains in the background.

Andrew says, Wait for me!

Grandma and Grandpa also brought Andrew some playdoh.  But don't ever try to bring playdoh through airport security again was the lesson learned by Grandma.

Some fun creations.

Playing outside again.

Here we are leaving the park.  Andrew likes putting his hands in his pockets.

Playing with the balloons from Sylvia's party.  Even Sylvia loved this game.

Trying some ice cream for the first time.  She didn't like how cold it was!

Andrew with his ice cream cone.

What a fun weekend! Thanks for coming to visit!!
