Ketchup

Merry Christmas everybody!

The holidays sure did go by quickly. We are sad they are over, but Tard the Grumpy Cat thinks that the holiday season being over is...

(Tyler doing his own grumpy cat impression)

Tyler enjoys his Webelos calling and helped his young scout Josh make a bird feeder.  It turned into quite a project and we went his house on several occasions so he could finish it before Christmas break.   After gaining a new scout in January, they are anxiously completing their cars for the pinewood derby.  All the wood working projects for Tyler inspired him to aspire to own better tools!   Tyler made one just like this in a High School carpentry class.

We drove up to Michigan for the December break.  We both had colds so we did a lot of relaxing as well as spending time with family.  It snowed a fair amount so we had a fun cold Christmas.

 Everyone enjoyed their gifts!

Tyler enjoyed the many pets that were there in Olivet. Here are some fun pictures of him with my aunt and uncle's cats as well as my parents' dog!

A couple of days after Christmas most of the extended family went out to eat at a fancy restaurant, Ye Olde English Inne. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was gourmet-zing!

It was nice to travel back to warm Alabama.  We spent New Year’s playing games with some couples form the Ward.  Black Hawk training is going very well for Tyler.  His time here is Alabama is coming to an end and he is finishing strong.   Here are some cool videos taken as he was sitting in back of the helicopter. It's not amazing quality since he had to be sneaky as you aren't supposed to be taking videos. The first one you can hear some of the talking on the radios but the other two are just too loud to hear anything - you might want to just mute it.

We were happy to just announce that we are 12 weeks pregnant! We are both very very excited and will post ultrasound pictures soon!
