Our sweet baby twins are so tiny and sweet! They mostly sleep, eat, and poop but we are so happy they were born healthy and on time! Here are some pictures from their first month.
The twins love to snuggle. Mommy noticed they were sleeping better if they were touching each other. How sweet is that!
The babies sleep in a co-sleeper attached to Mommy's side of the bed for now. We will set up cribs for them after we move in a few months.
The babies first bath! Their umbilical cords fell off sooner than the older two kids probably because the nurses put rubbing alcohol on the cord and in Colorado they said they didn't do that anymore. In this picture they look so sad but so cute at the same time! Can you tell who is who?

Did we mention they like to sleep a lot? They eat about every 3-4 hours. But during growth spurts they drink a lot more than that! It has been good to supplement with formula during the times it feels like they are drinking for hours and hours.
Little Melody has dark hair and her eyes are turning darker.
Christian has what we call a turtle shell head because it looks a little lumpy and bumpy. He also has no hair except down near his ears. We think Christian just wanted to have hair like his daddy.
See?! Like Father like son.

Our newborns are not the most photogenic... here are some photo fails:
First day going to church. Melody looks very surprised and Christian looks like his head is too heavy to hold up.

Nope, they definitely didn't want their picture taken that day.
Even if they aren't the most photogenic, we think, especially in person, our twins are the cutest babies around!

Christian was looking so serious and Melody with her tiny little face looking up at Mommy.
Even their Pediatrician has been impressed with their growth. Here's a summary:
Birth- M: 6 lbs. 2 oz. C: 6 lbs. 1 oz.
Leaving hospital- M: 5 lbs. 6 oz C: 5 lbs. 7.5 oz.
2 Day Checkup- M: 5 lbs. 8.5 oz. C: 5 lbs. 10.5 oz.
2 Week Checkup- M: 6 lbs. 8.5 oz. C: 7 lbs.
They both have grown about an inch taller in the last month too!

Poor Christian developed baby acne on his face but it should go away in a few weeks.
We love, love, love our babies! Their first month has gone by fast!
