In our last days before the big move, we spent our time doing some of our most favorite things.
Here we are walking the trails behind the local library.
We met Daddy there and brought a picnic lunch.
Here we are hiking at Palmer Park. We will miss Colorado's amazing landscape.
Enjoying a kids' concert at the Library. The musicians were quirky but the music was fun. Sylvia is dancing with her koala bear.
This picture captures the tender love and protection a father gives his young children. Tyler is the best Daddy.
We went out to a restaurant for dinner one night. Mommy joked she was on a see-food diet during her pregnancy because anytime she would see a commercial for a certain food she would want it! That's how we ended up at this Red Robin for juicy hamburgers.
Having a nice picnic on the porch.
Can you can see a helicopter way off in the distance by the tree? Tyler is actually flying that helicopter!
Playing at a McDonald's play place.
Hello!
For playgroup we started going to the splash pad regularly. Andrew and Sylvia are finally at the age to really enjoy it!
Funny faces at the splash pad.
The kids like bubble blowing too.
Every time I look at this picture I laugh out loud because of Andrew's facial expression. When I showed him the picture he laughed too.
After a hike we dipped our feet in a cold mountain stream.
Bath time antics
What pretty red hair, although if you ask her it's pink (her favorite color).
Andrew is doing a cool pose for the picture. We were killing time at Walmart while our house was being showed to potential renters and Andrew found a light saber.
Our last time at the splash pad I forgot I had packed all the beach towels so they had to use their bath towels instead.
Maybe we'll live near the mountains again in the future. I hope so.
There is Pike's Peak right behind Sylvia.
Ice cream! Yes, please!
They like throwing pebbles in the water.
Going on a nature walk.
You can see garden of the gods behind us in the distance.
After eating sandwiches in the back of the van like this the kids kept asking to do it again, like it was an ideal spot for a picnic. Maybe Andrew just liked how he could lie down while eating.
We will miss Colorado so, so, very much.
