After nearly six months, we are finally creating our Christmas 2016 Blog Post! We drove up to Michigan and spend a little over a week at the Judd house. We had a ton of fun and enjoyed seeing so many friends and relatives.
It was hard to tell who was happier: the grand kids seeing their Judd Grandparents, or the Grandparents seeing their grand kids!
They also loved seeing their Great Grandparents Judd.
Here's a picture of the strapping young men on the Judd side of the family. (Bennett and Margaret spent Christmas at her family's house, so please excuse Bennett)
This is a picture of all the great grandchildren.
There was snow on the ground for the first few days we were there, then it warmed up and rained, clearing out all the snow. It was nice to get to enjoy it for a few days, but then spend the rest of the time in nicer weather conditions.

As you read from our previous blog post, Rachel's sister, Camille, got married shortly after Christmas. They had a bridal shower for her while we were there. The theme was "Love Birds".
There were so many great decorations and pictures. A lot of people spent so much time and effort to make it an amazing event.
So many people showed up and it was such a special night for Camille, and her fiance Hunter, who also came to Michigan for Christmas.
The kiddos woke up early on Christmas morning, bursting with excitement to open up their presents.
First stop though was their stockings, which were lovingly made by their Grandma Carson in the same style as she made for Tyler years ago.
The stockings were a big hit. They were so excited to open and play with all their stocking suffers that we had to remind them they had other presents to open up as well!
We sat in a circle and went around the room taking turns opening up one present at a time. It was a great time.
Andrew and Sylvia did a good job of taking turns and helping everyone else open up their presents. It was so wonderful seeing the looks of excitement and joy on their faces.

Some of the toys that Andrew got for Christmas were toys that Tyler had when he was younger. They were a big hit, Andrew loves the ninja turtle toys.
We put special emphasis on teaching the kids the true meaning of Christmas, however. We took this family picture shortly before going to the congregational church in Olivet for a Christmas eve program. We also went to our regular LDS church on Christmas morning.
After attending church, we headed back to the Great Grandparent's house for food and games with the whole family.

We had a little bit of trouble with our van as we were preparing to head back home to Colorado. We were going to upgrade our van soon anyway, and ended up trading in the old van for the newer van pictured below! It was quite an upgrade and we got a pretty good deal for it also.
We had such a great Christmas time at the Judd homestead in Michigan. We can't wait to make even more memories with our growing family in years to come.
