Friends

While in Michigan, Rachel was lucky to see all her closest friends from high school.  Rachel's friends Lacey and Rachel live in Vermont and Ohio respectively, but happened to be back visiting too! 

We all went out to dinner once our kids were in bed and it was just like old times.

We had a few play dates with our kids.  They had fun playing together.  Here we are at Lacey's parents' house.  Andrew is playing with Leland (Lacey's son) and Lily and Marshall (Sarah's kids).

Sylvia is playing with the younger ones, Anna (Lacey's daughter) and Winston (Sarah's baby boy).

This was another day when Sarah came over and the kids played together.

We had another play day at Lacey's parents' house while we were in Michigan.  Here Lacey's dad is taking us on a wagon ride in the woods.  Leland calls his Grandpa, Pa, so Andrew called him, "Uncle Pa".

Rachel also went to her class reunion while in Michigan.  It was our 10 year reunion and it was held at a golf clubhouse restaurant patio.

Lacey and I went to the reunion together because both our husbands weren't able to come with us.  There weren't many people at the reunion, but we had a ton of fun with the small group that was there.  We had a nice dinner, reminisced, and, laughed with everyone. 

This is another morning when Lacey brought her kids over to play.

This was a park play date with Sarah's kids a few days before we drove back to Colorado.  It's cute how Lily and Andrew are holding hands in this picture.  We love our Michigan friends and are happy we can spend time with them almost every time we visit.
