Albuquerque Temple Trip

We wanted to go to the temple on a long weekend so we decided to go up and make a weekend trip out of it.  Tyler and Rachel didn't go to the temple first thing but here is the picture of them.  Other friends of theirs had the same idea to spend the weekend up in Albuquerque so we swapped watching each other's kids.  Thanks to the Farrs we could go to the temple together!

We decided to visit the aquarium for the first time.

There were fish to see even before we entered the aquarium.

But there were even more cool sea life to see inside!

It was entertaining for all.

Fishing boat display.

We were there during the sting ray feeding.

It was a cool thing to see!  The aquarium employee wore big waders and they swam up to her to be fed.

These sea horses blend into the plants that grow on the ocean floor.

We found Nemo and Dory.

This was a huge Atlantic Ocean Coral Reef replica.

This was an aquarium tunnel.  It was amazing to see the fish swimming above our heads.

A bunch of jellyfish.

These fish were really big.  Andrew was impressed.

Shark!

Admiring all the fish.

We ate at a Denny's restaurant and it is always a hit with all our kids.

Here we are at our AirBnB when it was our turn to watch the Farr kids.

There was a park nearby our AirBnB.  We spent some time there one of the mornings.

The big kids had fun playing.

Christian had fun running around too.

So did Melody!

We didn't visit this museum but here are the kids posing in front of it.

We did visit the kids science museum while we were there too.

This was a fun flying simulation that Daddy figured out right away.

Good job, Tyler!

Look at the floating beach ball.

So many things to see and hands on exhibits.

Rotating sand tables.

Then there was the bubble room! Tyler had to try to put a bubble on his head.

Christian liked playing in the bubbles too.

Sylvia in a bubble.

This was INSIDE the elevator believe it or not.

The kids liked the big blocks they could build with but Melody thought hers was a rocking horse.

On our way to and from Albuquerque we pass the town Truth or Consequences.

The kids were sure tired out from our long weekend but it was a fun trip.
