Easter

Happy Easter from these cute Carson kids!  We love Easter time and had a ton of fun celebrating the most important event in history, the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Awwwww....

Rachel planned a small Easter party with her friend Nichole and her kids at our house with an Easter egg hunt.

Found one!

Andrew got some too!

We also decorated Easter cupcakes!  The kids did all these themselves, I only helped with the frosting.  This was a lot of fun and they turned out quite cute. And delicious!

Easter morning pictures- looks like the Easter bunny came!

The Easter bunny hid two golden eggs in the kids' rooms.  Andrew and Sylvia really liked that surprise and found them very quickly.

Chocolate bunnies!  They managed to make them last until evening.

We have so many bunny/sheep/duck stuffed animals it seemed like a missed opportunity not to do a photo shoot with the babies in their Easter shirts.

We also dyed Easter eggs.  But we didn't go crazy because the kids only have attention span for a few eggs anyway.  Tyler only got to dye one egg.

And we can't let Easter go by without making our traditional bunny cake!  This one has lemon filling and was very tasty.

It's definitely not the prettiest cake but it's an improvement from last year.

The kids thought it turned out great!

We had a wonderful Easter with probably too much sugar but with just the right about of fun.

  1. Looks like you had a wonderful Easter. The cupcakes the kids decorated turned out great, and so did your Easter bunny cake! I especially loved the picture of the twins with all the Eastery stuffed animals. You have such a happy family!
