Andrew 2 Years Old

We celebrated Andrew's 2nd birthday party the first week of August. His actual birthday was July 30th but since we traveled most of July and had multiple birthday parties for him with family, we felt it was fine to celebrate with his friends a few weeks late.

Lots of his friends from church showed up.

They had lots of fun playing outside in the water,

Rachel made some really yummy bbq pulled pork sandwiches, watermelon, and home made macaroni and cheese.

The kids had lots of fun eating food and playing together.

Here's a picture of the car/truck cake Rachel made for Andrew

He did a good job blowing out the candle!

The day after Andrew's party (Tyler had Friday off, so on Saturday) we went to a dinosaur museum a few towns away. We had driven past it a few times but never gone inside.

It was fun to see the cool dinosaurs.

This is Andrew's "wow" face.

Andrew had lots of fun looking at the bones and going "bbbRRRRRRrraaa"

They even read dinosaur themed kids books for a story time.

Look out behind you! Oh wait...

We ate a picnic lunch and then went home for nap time. It was a fun day!

Andrew loves playing with the hose

And is so sweet when he naps

He loves playing in the cars and pressing the garage door button

Family chill time! (minus Sylvia who was taking a nap)

Eating some "num num"s with "mom-o"

Andrew loves everything Minions - or "nan-o-nuh" as he calls them.

We love our big boy Andrew so much! We are very happy to have him and little Sylvia in our eternal family. (He was so excited to look at the pictures we were taking that he kept standing up 0.5 seconds after he sat down to run back over and look at the camera.)

  1. Wow, looks like you were having a Primary activity in your backyard! I'll bet Andrew loved every minute of it. It also looks like it was a lot of work for Rachel to make all the food and organize the party. The cake turned out awesome! Loved all the pictures of Andrew enjoying life.
